    Milestone Technologies is seeking an inquisitive and self-driven linguist or communications enthusiast to work as a Conversational Experience Designer on a team responsible for successful end-to-end implementation and training of the Amelia Virtual Agent in client environment.


    Amelia is an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant (software) that simulates a human agent. The Conversational Experience Designer (CED) creates the conversational scenarios for the interactions between Amelia and end users.  


    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Training and management of the language Amelia uses in her conversations
    • Plan, write and edit transcripts and dialogue and develop the associated user journeys
    • Improving the user experience, making it more human and convenient
    • Interface with clients to provide guidance and recommendations aimed at enhancing the overall customer experience
    • Work closely with engineers who train Amelia to refine the conversation flow and suggest process updates as needed
    • Help train different facets of Amelia to enhance her natural language understanding
    • Assist with content development for demos.


    • BA in Communications-related field, and 3+ years of relevant experience in industry
    • Strong writing or editorial experience
    • Experience working with clients preferred
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams
    • Willingness and initiative to learn new skills and interest in technology desired
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities with tight deadlines
    • Fluent in English

     Preferred Location

    •  Phoenix, AZ (Fremont, CA also acceptable for the right candidate)

      Travel of up to 80% may be required to client sites
