  • Overview

    The Asset Lifecycle Management team is responsible for the procurement (through a combination of capital purchases and leases), tracking and disposition of all equipment. This team interacts externally with major vendors and internally with Engineering, Project Management, Results Reporting, Finance, Accounting, Senior Management, Data Center Site operations and SOX compliance. 

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyses data in asset database repository to identify and fix inaccurate asset data.
    • Plans and supports physical audit project for data validation.
    • Performs monthly SOX compliance testing and fix inaccurate asset data in database
    • RMA management for outgoing/incoming assets in database repository
    • Work with hardware vendors, Asset Supply Management/engineering teams on the details of the orders, quotes, pricing, hardware configurations etc.
    • Fulfil hardware procurement ticket requests from internal customers through the use of various asset tracking and purchasing tools
    • Maintain required component and emergency spare inventory levels
    • Provide updates on gaps, issues, trending, other pertinent issues as day to day exceptions are addressed
    • Perform disposal tasks for on time return of capital assets
    • Audit Data Center and storage location(s) as needed to ensure accurate inventory and reporting
    • Request removal of unused hardware from the Data Center Locations for future disposals to ensure maximum space at Data Center
    • Performs other related responsibilities as assigned

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate college degree in Business, Computer Technology/IT and/or a related discipline.
    • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with IT asset management, finance or accounting a plus.
    • Must be extremely detail oriented and well organized.
    • Self-starter and deals well with ambiguity
    • Superior problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize in an extremely high volume and fast paced work environment with constant interruption.
    • Ability to work within cross-functional teams.
    • Experience with Sarbanes Oxley testing a plus
