    Milestone Technologies is seeking an Associate Studio Producer with a passion for production and live stream production to join our Studio Operations team supporting Facebook and Instagram at their NYC office. The Studio Operations team provides end-to-end onsite and offsite production support for various Facebook/Instagram teams and their clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong video production background with an emphasis on the technical aspects of live steaming and have experience with broadcast level studio equipment. Any knowledge of live audio mixing is a huge bonus. This is a full-time position.

    ***Please note that we use the term “producer” in a non traditional manner. Our producers are highly technical people and combine the skills of a cinematographer, grip, gaffer, streaming engineer, and sound mixer.


    • Work with video team to produce live and non-live productions in studio environment and/or offsite locations.
    • Key Responsibilities: Create end to end produced assets or live stream videos in studio or offsite locations.
    • Operate and maintain all production video/audio equipment.
    • Produce onsite/offsite live streams using Facebook/Instagram products.
    • Produce onsite/offsite horizontal and vertical videos.
    • Willingness to play different roles during production as needed.
    • Interface with clients before and after production as needed.


      • At least 3 years of studio and field video production experience.
      • Possess very strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
      • Understanding of technical concepts and operation of digital video cameras, lights, and studio equipment.
      • Knowledge of the technical aspects of API based live stream workflow.
      • General knowledge of operating studio audio consoles and field audio recorders/microphones for location shoots.
      • Familiar with mic placement techniques for lavalieres, handhelds, and musical instruments.
      • General knowledge of audio and video codecs.
      • Basic understanding of wireless systems, comms, IFBs, intercom, sound re-enforcement, and field audio.
      • Ability to provide basic technical audio workflow recommendations to talent.
      • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
      • Professionally groomed to company standards, specific location standards, and to the standards of our clients.
      • Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
      • Ability to stand for several hours at a time.
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
