  • Overview

    Provide second level support for global Site Technician Team. Responsible for deploying exhibits, monitor and reporting issues with exhibits and service and creating and maintaining documentation and standards for each location. Develop and troubleshoot AV solutions based on client event requirements. 


    Provide higher level support for global Site Technician Team. Responsible for deploying and monitoring exhibits, reporting and servicing exhibit issues, creating and maintaining documentation and standards for each location, and developing and troubleshooting AV solutions based on client event requirements.


    • Serve as an escalation point for all Site Techs globally
    • Proactively assess technical issues affecting Centers by submitting tickets / bugs and informing client of concerns
    • Perform initial or secondary root cause analysis of system wide or device outages
    • Work with client and other third-party vendor teams to apply RCA fixes
    • Escalate and properly inform client of any issues or needed changes to Center functionality
    • Provide onboarding assistance for new third-party vendors
    • Provide onboarding assistance for new Site Techs by providing hands-on training on all hardware and software commonly used in Centers.
    • Proactively help to maintain spares inventory and recommend efficiencies
    • Work with Client to standardize and improve SOPs and other processes and models
    • Support launch and soft opening of new exhibits and centers including, but not limited to:
      • Providing input related to design supportability during the design / build of new exhibits
      • Provisioning machines
      • Install and deploy new exhibit software
      • Define technical and user test plans
      • Network setup
    • Assist with technical documentation management including, equipment lists and inventory
    • Testing and troubleshooting of exhibits with Client Partners and Outside Vendors
    • Generate new scripting and OS configurations as needed to properly run an exhibits
    • Maintain an organized lab space


    • Ability to write AppleScript and bash scripts
    • Familiarity with debugging JavaScript and Python
    • Strong diagnostic skills

    • Proficient in Linux command line Networking
    • Intermediate familiarity with common programming and scripting languages, emphasis on debugging

    • Familiarity with technologies from Crestron, Extron, NEC, Mitsubishi, Nexia, Shure, QSC, etc.


    SPECIAL HOURS REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work unpredictable and potentially long hours, as required by client. Travel is required.


    SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to climb ladders, carry at least 50lbs and operate a scissor lift.
