As a member of the Shipping and Receiving Team, Team member will work closely with the Supervisor to ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely execution of all Guts and TASK tickets submitted to the helpdesk inventory queue. Team member will start in one area and then cross train into other deprtment for fill in opportunities:
Ensure a safe working environment
Abide by Customer guidelines when on premises
Abide by Milestone guidelines set by Facility - Set up, and collect equipment
Support Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose Bay Area Locations
Ensure your respective ticket queues do not have any tickets in WIP, pending, or assigned status at the end of each business day
Open tickets - Ensure there are no open tickets left in the unassigned state from previous business day
End of each business day all processed tickets must be placed into the respective zone carts for delivery
Ensure tickets are processed and shipped according to shipping guidelines
Efficient in the client’s ticketing system guts and camp.
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time to pull and stage tickets
Ability to lift up to 50lbs - restocking shelves, process and stage workstations and monitors
Basic understanding of computer skills
Attention to details - maintain 100% accuracy when processing tickets. Pull the right item. Deploy to the right location.
Fast and accurate
Good communication skills. Customer interaction regarding updates on the status of their requests.
Ability to perform physical inventory counts and report variances to management
Ability to manage and maintain multiple ticket queues - guts and camp
Keep work area clean and organized at all times
Dependability - Arrive at work on time and follow Milestone’s attendance policy
Flexibility - Be available to work overtime as needed including occasional weekend work
Properly verify, receive and stage any incoming freight
Log Exceptions [Missing/ damaged items] at time of receipt, unload
Receive, and re-route incoming shipments for Internal customer [Chrome, Android] the same day.
Update and Resolve GUTs tickets (Our Customers Communication tool)upon receiving the requested items.
Route received items under GUTS to the right team or team member
Maintain an organized filing system. Properly file any PO receipt, Trucking BOL or Parcel Manifest
Utilize proper color cones to identify the stages during receiving of product:
Apply a range of experience and skills to meet established productivity and SLA standards.
Support management's decisions to install teamwork and quality standards
Excellent computer skills
Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written
Physical demands- while performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, lift
Duties of the job are performed in both an office environment and a warehouse
Maintain and/or be flexible during peak hours (OT or based on Business needs- alter shifts)
Be available and participate in quarterly PI's (Inventory)
