    Essential Job functions

    As a member of the Inventory team, you will be responsible for effectively provisioning, installing, configuration, and troubleshooting multiple operating platforms including Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.

    This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, and related procedures adhere to the standards established by the clients Information technology organization.  You will work closely with the IT Special Projects Supervisor to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely execution of all tickets submitted to the team including new hires, transfers, hardware break/fix, hardware upgrades, events, projects, and mergers and acquisitions. You will be expected to keep track of the systems you image on a daily basis to track performance and provide weekly statics to management for reporting purposes. You must be able to perform the job duties assigned as listed below.


    This is an individual contributor position

    This is a minimum of 40 hours per week, non-exempt position

    Work week consists of Wednesday through Sunday 11:00 am until 8:00 pm

    Occasional overtime is expected and required




    Imaging Technician (60%)

    • Perform system imaging  including Mac OS, Linux, and Windows operating system
    • Corp host hardware to ensure systems are enabled for user at first logon
      • Proficient in manually corp-hosting and GUI interface
    • Good understanding on configuring BIOS
      • Must be able to perform BIOS updates on a variety of platforms
    • Able to delete MAC address using command line and GUI interface
    • Able to perform hardware upgrades on a variety of platforms including Apple, Dell, HP, and Lenovo
    • Able to troubleshoot network connectivity issues
    • Gather information and perform troubleshooting of device issues including failed image, corp hosting, or installing machine certificates
    • Work through helpdesk ticketing system to communicate with end user
    • Hardware upgrades for HW Eng systems (Ram/GPU/SSD Replacements)
    • Image and Corphost Visitor Kiosks
    • GVC Units
      • Image GVC encoder units provided by GVC Team
      • Image GVC servers
    • Troubleshooting Hardware Failures
      • Failed systems returned to CCR through Returns Team
    • Image systems with custom images provided by requestors
    • Tracking of mac addresses for corphosted systems
    • Tracking GUTs tickets and CAMP tasks


      • Printers
        • Manage Print ticket queue
        • Add printers to CAMP based on ticket queue, and assign to user
        • Corphost/assign/activate printers in Print Central
        • Managing/configure printers through EWS (Embedded Web Server)
        • Update MAC address when Printers NIC (Network Interface Card) is replaced
        • Clear cached addresses from printers prior to redeployment
        • Deactivate/Decommission printers as required


    • Expired printers are retired based on GUTs tickets


      • File tickets for printer service calls / building refreshes / toner replacements
      • Troubleshooting connectivity issues
      • Printer Refresh/Replacements when deployed devices lease expires


    New Hire Coordinator (30%)

    Work as a primary backup for the new hire coordinator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to


    Pull weekly new hire list from “Noogley”

    Sort/organize list to create new hire strips

    Update information into Google docs. “Inv. Pull” report

    Update New Hire breakdown report

    Print Strips for the imaging team for laptops, desktops, and monitors

    Attach strips to devices as needed - laptops, desktops, monitors

    Allocate assets into CAMP

    Pull accessories for making new hire kits

    Make new hire kits

    Organize laptops following seating assignments for orientation rooms

    Assign assets in CAMP

    Transfer accessories (privacy filter, laptop sleeve, adapter, and cables to the new hire location in CAMP

    Handel/process new hire related tickets including late adds

    Work with Noogler setup team for seat assignment discrepancies, missing equipment, and any other issues that arise relating to New Hires


    Other Duties (10%)

    • Unboxing new hardware for deployment
      • Add MAC address stickers to new hardware after unboxing
    • Responsible for workstation and laptop restocking
    • Participate in quarterly inventory
    • Assist with new-hire set up for orientation sessions



    • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
    • Microsoft Certified Professional certification in Desktop and Applications categories preferred; A+ and/or Dell Hardware Certification(s) preferred
    • 2-3+ years of experience working in an IT infrastructure environment as a hands-on, Desktop Support Technician.
    • Investigating, troubleshooting and communicating with department customers and escalating issues to Systems Administration when required.
    • Firm understanding and knowledge of current basic TCP/IP communications protocols including DHCP leases, diagnosing physical connectivity issues with computers, printers and telephones.
    • Experience with computer hardware installation and replacement, Windows desktop operating systems, common Windows desktop applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, etc.
    • Must be dependable and take ownership of assigned job responsibilities; must be comfortable working under minimal supervision and exhibit a sense of urgency; take initiative to problem solve and be proactive regarding business-related matters.
    • Good understanding of ServiceNow (CAMP)
    • Good understanding of Remedy (GUTS)
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel
    • Good understanding of Google Docs
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Good time management skills
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines
    • Able to Multitask
    • Flexibility with work schedule
    • Able to work overtime when needed
