    The Event Coordinator Specialist will be responsible for organizing triage for upcoming requests for the Oculus Event Ops (OEO) team. In addition to triaging the Event Coordinator Specialist will delegate the overall calendar for every team member on Oculus Event Ops and provide clear insight to our working bandwidth.

    As the first contact to Oculus Event Ops, the Event Coordinator Specialist will provide excellent customer service to our clients. The Event Coordinator Specialist candidate needs to rise above and beyond in regards to: organizational skills, proactive communication, enthusiasm as a team player.


    • Keeps a working knowledge of current Oculus technology

    • Assess each incoming event request appropriately for triage

    • Follows up with clients for detailed information regarding orders and events

    • Follows up with assigned team members to communicate expectations of the task assigned

    • Ensures that a balanced workload is allotted among Production Managers and notifies them of high priority tasks

    • Maintains the teams' calendars and oversees bandwidth

    • Creates, schedules, and oversees Oculus Anywhere and giveaway orders via Flex inventory management software

    • Manages cliental service for Oculus Event Ops' giveaway inventory

    • Builds client relations by communicating OEO's service standards

    • Maintains departmental workflow procedures

    • Attends weekly Oculus Anywhere, Triage and OEO meetings

    • Completes post-event reports for all Oculus Event operations tasks to measure team productivity and growth

    • Collaborate and effectively communicate with warehouse team and IT team to ensure successful shipment deliveries


    • At least 2 years prior work experience with minimum high school diploma

    • 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Excel functions & formulas is preferred

    • Prior experience working with inventory management systems preferred

    • Distinct professionalism and excellent customer service skills

    • Strong task management, verbal and written communication skills, and persistent follow-up

    • Ability and eagerness to function as a supportive team player

    • Independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

    • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment
