    Accounting Manager to scale the company’s accounting function and support the company’s growth.  This position reports to the Controller and oversee International Accounting, Financial Reporting, Close, Technical Accounting, implement controls and processes and systems to enable Milestone Technologies to meet operational, reporting and audit requirements as we scale.

    Responsibilities

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage accounting operations including Consolidation, Elimination, Inter-Company, Accounts Payable, T&E, General Ledger, Remeasurement and Translation.
    • Manage all international accounting, compliance and multiple international finance & accounting vendors/consultants to support tax and statutory deadlines.
    • Prepare and review international accounting packages for consistency and accuracy
    • Own monthly / annual close calendars and processes – includes, but not limited to, review of journal entries, accruals, balance sheet recons, flux/variance analysis, draft financial reviews with CFO & Ops teams, as applicable.
    • Assist financials & tax requests and audits – providing & working with external auditors.
    • Help with implementations, drive process improvements & optimize ERP (NetSuite) and other systems impacting financials & reporting.
    • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties.
    • Research, develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
    • Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 8-12 years of experience
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the global organization
    • Ability to solve problems, root cause analysis, provide options, and implement solutions
    • Ability to adapt to new/fast changing business requirements
    • Broad understanding of business processes and drive new policies and procedures
    • Experience with major ERP systems, NetSuite is a plus
    • Experience with private companies funded by Venture Capital/Private Equity is a plus

    EDUCATION:

    • BS/BA in Accounting
    • MBA or CPA preferred
