    We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our onsite team at a client site and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members and the MPOC for the Client, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve Service SLA & performance goals.

    The Logistics Team Manager is responsible for the execution of material logistics in a data center environment.  The role will involve 50% working alongside logistics personnel in the Data Centre environment, 30% managing personnel and 20% client facing interactions This includes the shipping/receiving, storage, distribution and cycle counting of data center inventory/material.  The daily onsite management of staff is as important as the management of the client’s service expectations.

    You should have experience of creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Have the ability to delegate tasks and set deadlines whilst overseeing day-to-day operations





    Role Responsibilities

    • Developing, organizing, and disseminating training materials to all Milestone IBOS employees deployed to our account.
    • Provide reporting/communication upstream to client and Milestone management and downstream to FB DC managers and Milestone employees.
    • Recruiting — assist with all region open-position recruiting activities, coordinating with Chris and Todd.
    • Build out a 30-60-90 day staffing plan to address open issues and normal attrition.
    • Intimately understand our contract terms and proactively effectively manage level ups, promotions, etc.
    • Ensure Milestone team are following set FB procedures and process
    • Act as a communication channel between line employees and Milestone / FB management to highlight any issues, and a general people manager (escalations, recognition, discipline, knowledge-sharing/best practices).
    • To the extent applicable, actively manage the ODMs in each region

    Service Management

      • Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
      • Principal duties in support of DC operations including but not limited to
        • receiving, storing, and shipping materials
        • Maintaining strict inventory control
        • Ensuring accurate and timely shipments and receipts
        • Maintaining accurate records and metrics; audits as necessary
        • Assists in monthly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports
      • Create weekly reports on team performance and SLA achievements
      • Provides explanations for operational insight into performance results
      • Develops and executes the continuous development of operational services & procedures on site.
      • Keeps a strong working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area

    Client Relationship Management

      • MPOC for all site IBOS related queries
      • Client IBOS contact for queries and escalations
      • Weekly Service Review with Client
      • Point of contact for Regional Service Delivery Manager
      • Provides operational knowledge & insight to SDM

    Program Management

      • Site lead for Health & Safety development & execution
      • Site lead on Risk Management & operation of Risk Register
      • Site Lead on development & execution of standard working procedures & best practice



    • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
    • Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Organizational and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
    • Decision-making skills with an ability to manage priorities and workflow
    • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
    • Analytical knowledge of performance metrics
    • Strong inventory management control skills
    • Knowledge of warehouse operations best practices is an advantage
    • Commitment to excellence and high standards
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient in Windows based programs, Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
    • Ability to understand any and all health & safety requirements and cautions
    • Ability to perform the physical labor is a must
    • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
    • Able to safely lift and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
    • Able to stand the duration of the shift
    • Valid drivers license
