  • Overview

    The Lead IT Technician is skilled and experienced with logistical processing and will be responsible for handling all levels of logistical matters including but not limited to completing inbound services, deployment services, and providing thought leadership to help a growing Logistics service. Job responsibilities include:

    Responsibilities

    • Will help lead a team of 6-10 Logistics Technicians
    • Conducting deployment services, which encompass desk side support, desk set-up, phone provisioning, and quick fix management.
    • Completing and supervising requests for materials and equipment.
    • Restocking and troubleshooting all IT vending machines around site office(s) or campus.
    • Unloading and delivering shipment to stock rooms and local DropStops.
    • Completing additional tasks/Projects assigned by Management.
    • Stocking/checking printers
    • Asset management, inventory tracking & cycle counts.
    • Managing of IT stock room
    • Conference room AV/VC checks
    • Efficient managing of IT Ticket requests and team backlog
    • Basic monitor troubleshooting
    • IT onboarding room setups
    • Moves/opening new building coordination
    • PO creation and receiving product that was ordered.
    • POC for imaging all laptops for new hires and current employees.
    • Dropgear fulfillment
    • Communicating to the team
    • Process and procedure documentation

    Qualifications

    • Available to work 40 hours/5 days per week with the possibility of overtime hours.
    • Strong people management skills
    • Experience working with and leading a team.
    • Extensive understanding of IT equipment, models, and accessories. Including experience with Windows, Mac, Android and iOS systems.
    • Excellent Ticket management hygiene a must
    • Understanding of managing service through data
    • Responsive, efficient, and exhibits a high level of professionalism.
    • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety and operations.
    • Apple GSX Certification or the ability to become certified within the first 10 months of employment.
    • Must be a self-starter who takes initiative, analyzes and resolves problems in a fast-paced environment and drives projects to closure.
    • Ability to move/lift at least 20-30 pounds.
    • Strong verbal and written skills for customer interactions.
