Reporting to the Inventory Management Lead the Inventory Management Technician is responsible for the inventory accuracy of all IT equipment that comes in and out of our offices. This position requires incredible organization, time management, and a solid sense of urgency.
Manages daily/weekly/monthly audit and cycle count process.
Categorizes all variance data and drives actions to resolve issues
Constantly working towards efficient inventory processes with fearless resolve
Assists and advises on all aspects of warehouse & global operations as needed to comply with inventory accuracy.
Stocks inventory in storage locations
Interface with all levels within Client office and corporate managers as appropriate.
Responsible for delivering assets to be imaged to the Service Desk.
Responsible for updating tasks and Asset Management systems
Verifying and delivering Loaners, Breakfix, Upgrades, Accessories, Telcom equipment to
Responsible for prepping inventory (imaged/un-imaged assets, accessories, monitors etc)
Responsible for shipping to field locations and stage for pickup
Responsible for Restocking Accessories in Vending Machines
Responsible for maintaining and organizing stock rooms
Responsible for receiving assets physically in stock room and virtually in asset management
Responsible for weekly cycle counts
Responsible for managing task backlog
Responsible for inventory management in Asset Management system.
Responsible for Picking all assets and accessories from storage locations
Responsible for collecting all inbound return assets and separating by usable, break/fix, end
of life categories.
Responsible for tracking down and retrieving equipment from term workers including
Responsible for retention (for some period of time) of laptops
Legal hold, upgrade retention
Responsible for refurbishment of returned laptops
Coordinates break/fix of computers and mobile phones
Responsible for moving repaired, refurbished equipment back into Storage inventory.
Extensive understanding of IT equipment, models, and accessories.
A mind for data, experience with Excel spreadsheets a plus!
Ability to move/lift at least 20-30 pounds.
