    Oculus is seeking a Demo Operations Specialist to work directly with Event Planners, Production Managers, and Experience Marketing team and support the demo aspects of events and trade shows. This position is part of the IT organization, so candidates must be passionate about Technology, live customer service and have the ability to thrive in fast paced, high-pressure environment. Heavy global travel is expected.


    • Reviews client requests and provides direction for the staffing, demo experience, and delivery of services
    • Become an Oculus product expert with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve problems with both software and hardware in order to provide this knowledge to Oculus Demo Specialist Team (ODST) and Brand Ambassadors
    • Become an Oculus demo expert with the expectation of providing generic and detailed training on the brand, hardware, software, and content for Oculus Anywhere and Oculus Event Operations requests
    • Keeps Event Ops Manager well informed of status of event support efforts and serves as liaison between vendors and clients
    • Owns the onsite staffing expectation and is responsible for managing staffing agency in partnership with client
    • Create and execute trainings for staffing agency, ODSTs, and Brand Ambassadors around the world at events or during larger, overall training sessions
    • Communicates and enforces Oculus standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and scope evolves
    • Manages demo resources within budget and client support schedule
    • Consistently delivers high-quality, high impact services to clients
    • Build and maintain vendor support relationships to Oculus standards


    • 3+ years of building and executing training overviews
    • Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Interest and passion in gaming, especially virtual reality, and providing unforgettable, high-quality demo experiences
    • Strong computer hardware skills and troubleshooting knowledge
    • Strong computer software skills, including experience with gaming and digital entertainment content
    • A proven track record of supporting large-scale tech focused events
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, juggling multiple projects at once, working two and three quarters out but still prepared and able to execute spontaneous demos and event opportunities.
    • Availability and willingness to travel internationally
    • BA or BS or equivalent experience required
