  • Overview

    Oculus is seeking a Program Manager to work directly with our clients and partners and support the Oculus Anywhere program globally. This position is part of the IT organization, so candidates must be passionate about technology, live customer service and have the ability to thrive in fast paced, high-pressure environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Reviews client requests and provides direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of services in conjunction with operating partners 

    • Manages project lifecycle with technical and warehousing teams, including re-imaging requests, requesting inventory through inventory management system, and creating production schedule 

    • Understands the technical support lifecycle for returned equipment and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout support planning and delivery
    • Basic knowledge of international shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials
    • Facilitate weekly meetings with all program stakeholders
    • Partner with warehouse team for shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of program elements
    • Keeps Global Operations Manager well informed of status of event support efforts and serves as liaison between vendors and clients 

    • Owns the technical support and kiosk maintenance lifecycle and is responsible for managing risks throughout support planning and delivery 

    • Communicates and enforces Oculus standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and program scope evolves 

    • Manages resources within budget and client support schedule 

    • Consistently delivers high-quality, high impact services to clients 

    • Build and maintain vendor support relationships to Oculus standards 


     

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of project management or events experience, with experience or interest in technology
    • Self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong organizational and customer service skills
    • Passion and interest in gaming and virtual reality
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment, juggling multiple projects at once
    • Availability and willingness for limited travel, as needed
    • BA or BS or equivalent experience required
