    The Event Operations Technical Coordinator will assist the Event Operations Offsite Team in managing the existing workload by providing a variety of services for Facebook's Technical Producers. As a result, this position requires a strong technical background, as well as the ability to interface directly with customers and vendors to drive pre-production and execution for various events. Because of the fast-paced, multi-region support and constantly changing environment, the Offsite Technical Coordinator must be a strong leader and outstanding communicator who pays excellent attention to details.


    • Assist Offsite Event Operations Team with day to day duties and responsibilities
    • Respond quickly and efficiently to incoming client requests
    • Communicate effectively between Offsite Technical Producers and clients in regards to all event and technical requirements
    • Coordinates AV, Network, and Labor requests with Event Venues
    • Marks up venue drawings with tech requirements (i.e. Power, Cabling, Projectors, Screens, etc)
    • Assists in execution of action items for various internal projects
    • Manages and maintains inventory of existing and incoming IT assets and accessories
    • Helps balance event work load in region when necessary via providing on-site execution
    • Seeks out quality vendor partnerships in region
    • Provides consultation to internal customers for upcoming events
    • Assists internal customers in vendor sourcing and management
    • Acting surrogate when team members are unable to join meetings due to travel or other engagements
    • Keeps regional team members up to date with changes in scope to existing event timelines


    • 5 years prior work experience in a technical event production
    • 3 years prior work experience in project coordination
    • 3 years prior work experience designing and/or operating small to medium sized AV systems for live events
    • Strong communication skills and experience working with highly technical management teams.
    • Strong organizational, documentation, and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast paced environment.
    • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
