  • Overview

    The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering building development projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of the Technical Project Manager (PM) & AMER PRM Manager.


    • Attend client meeting and assist with determination of project requirements.
    • Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of the project proposals, RFP’s and preliminary schedules.
    • Assist with the preparation project organization and communication charts.
    • Attend site meeting and distribute minutes to all project team members.
    • Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades.
    • Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor project plans and work hours.
    • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project teams.
    • Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
    • Review filed inspection reports throughout the lifecycle of the project.
    • Maintain project schedule(s).
    • Maintain project documentation using agreed structure and approach.
    • Identify site logistics required for deployment technicians and teams.
    • Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in the database.
    • Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.
    • Obtain or complete closeout documentation including office information website, port mapping information, as-built documentation.
    • Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
    • Keep the Technical Project Manager (TPM) and other informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.
    • Able to travel within US/Canada/South America


    • Minimum 3 years of Project Coordinator experience in network infrastructure and construction field.
    • Optional: Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Networking or Project/Construction Management.
    • 3-5 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of development projects.
    • Knowledge of the building development/redevelopment industry.
    • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.
    • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
    • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
    • Valid passport.
