Our vision is to revolutionize the way technology is deployed and supported worldwide.  This role serves as a key member of the AV/VC Support team for our technology customer.  

     

    This role will support collaboration meetings using  A/V systems. Meetings include All Hand’s events, webcasts, and smaller, but global audio or video sessions. Support of various media events and training sessions will also be required. This role will also require a solid understanding of the desktop collaboration tools such as Acano, Webex, On24, and Cisco Jabber.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Set-up and break down audio-visual equipment for meetings and events, such as, projectors, microphones, speakers, etc.
    • Operate and monitor equipment during meetings, such as sound levels, remote cameras, video playback, and webcasting.
    • Video Switching and experience with fading between shots
    • Auditorium support experience in Large events
    • Communicate with users regarding requirements for upcoming meetings.
    • Connect Windows and Mac devices to Audio Visual equipment.
    • Instruct users in operation of equipment, if necessary.
    • Document/update standard operating procedures
    • Interface and work with varied positions and levels of technical knowledge both within the department and with other departments in the company

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in audiovisual or related field
    • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
    • Strong focus and organizational skills
    • Experience in bridging and planning global meetings
    • Self-motivated and strong coordinating skills
    • Understanding or willingness to learn wiring diagrams
    • Basic knowledge of AV integration and installation
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing tasks
    • Exposure as operating technician for live audiovisual special events
    • Experience as operating technician, as well as planning and execution of live audiovisual special events
