    Responsibilities

    Role Summary

    Milestone is seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our global Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) team. The ALM Coordinator manages the hardware lifecycle management in the data center, colocation, and international office space. Responsibilities include procurement, maintenance, tracking, through retirement of hardware assets. The ALM team performs services that include, but are not limited to:  hardware, software, support procurement, order management, operational supplier communications, inbound logistics, hardware receipt, sparing management, data accuracy, asset reconciliation report and audits, optimization, reporting on anything asset related, inter-company hardware moves, lease, loaned, RMA returns and disposals.

    Responsibilities

    • Quote review and submit Purchase Requests in Ariba
    • Cross functional collaboration with both internal and external teams to verify and confirm details pertaining to asset definition, accuracy of orders, quotes, pricing, and asset tagging requirements
    • Order management of procured hardware to ensure timely delivery to locations globally
    • Plan and support physical audit projects for data validation
    • Analyse asset database repository to identify and fix inaccurate asset data
    • Maintain required component and emergency spare inventory levels
    • Perform disposal related tasks associated with retired and tech refresh hardware assets

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Undergraduate college degree in Business, Computer Technology/IT and/or a related discipline or 4+ years of relevant experience in the technology space
    • Experience in purchasing, logistics planning & inventory management

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Data Center Asset Lifecycle Management or logistics background
    • Finance/ Accounting background with understanding of accounting categorization
    • Familiarity with tools such as Ariba, JIRA, SAP, Salesforce, & ServiceNow
