The Operations Support Technician (OST) provides support for On Site Asset Management, Warehouse Support, and Site Services in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The OST performs these activities under the direction of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Program Policies, Safety Policies, and Security Policies, meeting requirements for quality and quantity of work. The OST will assist the Site Services team with installs, moves, and de-commissions of hardware including cabinets, shelves, power strips, rails, fiber/copper/other cables and cable management, servers, storage, printers, and other devices in the Data Center. The OST will follow Standard Procedures for the oversight of vendors in the Data Center environment, and will insure vendors meet all requirements for safety, quality, and asset integrity in the Data Center. The OST will work in a standard ticketing system, providing clear, timely, and appropriate customer communications.
