Job Description Facebook Event Operations is seeking a Video Technician to support all audio and video aspects of live event streaming broadcasts and archiving. The ideal candidate has experience working in the audio visual field with a strong understanding of signal flow and equipment operation.
Responsibilities - Setup and operate studio equipment - Create and update technical standards and documentation - Act as camera operator, video switcher, or audio engineer as needed in productions - Setup live stream and monitor live stream for issues - Escalate issues to Technical Studio Lead or Live Producer - Contribute to and abide by SOP documents - Complete detailed event reporting post-shoot - Provide excellent communication with Technical studio lead and customers
Qualifications - 4+ years working knowledge of audio visual equipment with a proficiency in lighting, sound, and video recording along with experience with the technical challenges and problem solving needs in a event production environment. - 2+ years of experience in live, studio television production. - 1+ years of customer support experience in a technical environment - Ability to operate video cameras (Canon C300MKII)
