Our vision is to revolutionize the way technology is deployed and supported worldwide.  This role serves as a key member of the AV/VC Support team for our technology customer.  


This role will support collaboration meetings using A/V systems. Meetings include All Hand’s events, webcasts, and smaller, but global audio or video sessions. Support of various media events and training sessions will also be required. This role will also require a solid understanding of the desktop collaboration tools such as Acano, Webex, On24, and Cisco Jabber. This position will also be responsible for properly troubleshooting, escalating problems, and making recommendations for repairs and upgrades.


  • Set-up and break down audio-visual equipment for meetings and events, such as, projectors, microphones, speakers, etc.
  • Operate and monitor equipment during meetings, such as sound levels, remote cameras, video playback, and webcasting.
  • Communicate with users regarding requirements for upcoming meetings.
  • Connect Windows and Mac devices to Audio Visual equipment.
  • Instruct users in operation of equipment, if necessary.
  • Document/update standard operating procedures
  • Interface and work with varied positions and levels of technical knowledge both within the department and with other departments in the company
  • Complete daily sweep inspections of all conference rooms and perform AV basic troubleshooting
    • Daily room sweeps will require that you check the following 
    o All AV user cables are in good physical condition and passing signal
    o All power cables are in place and correctly powering laptops
    o Cisco Telepresence Touch panels are on the network
    o Cisco Telepresence / Zoom iPads have the correct video and audio settings
    o You can launch a call and both audio and video are being transmitted
    • Logistics and inventory support for Pleasanton offices 
    o Inventory tracking and management
    • Preparing hardware for deployment Provide technical troubleshooting and problem solving. 
    o Provide basic A/V, mobile device management, and network support.
    o Troubleshoots client-side network connectivity issues, including digital authentication, remote access, secure Wi-Fi and wired connectivity to the internal network.
    o Performs break/fix or remote installations as needed.
    • Triage, assign, and escalate all AV incoming tickets.
    • Help to educate users on AV equipment usage
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to support others in a team environment while also serving as a single point of tech support for local employees.
    • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service and provide simplified explanations of complex technical issues.
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and stay focused while performing repetitive tasks



  • Minimum of 2 years experience in audiovisual or related field
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong focus and organizational skills
  • Experience in bridging and planning global meetings
  • Self-motivated and strong coordinating skills
  • Understanding or willingness to learn wiring diagrams
  • Basic knowledge of AV integration and installation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • Exposure as operating technician for live audiovisual special events
  • Experience as operating technician, as well as planning and execution of live audiovisual special events
