Advanced level desktop relocations, Server Relocation, Cable Management, Deployments of IT equipment. The IMAC Technician II will have the following responsibilities:

·        Cable management (waterfall technique)

·        Intermediate MS Office skills (Access database, Excel create pivot tables)

·        Imaging and software updates

·        Ability to read and comprehend rack elevation/patching matrix

·        Accurately inventory and document layout of technical equipment, including port connections

·        Knowledge of Audio Video setup

·        Build matrix and applications

·        Logistics management

·        Knowledge of a variety of current PC hardware and computer peripherals

·        Ability to proficiently disconnect/reconnect PC workstations and peripherals in a timely manner (30 minutes)

·        Ensure equipment is accurately labeled with origination/destination information

·        Mechanically inclined individual experienced in using power drills and hand tools

·        Basic knowledge of server environment

·        Rack and stack servers, install rail kits and monitor arms

·        Availability to work weekdays

·        Lift at least 25 pounds

·        Perform data entry


Education and Experience

The IMAC will have one or more of the following:

  • A + Cert
  • CCNA certification
  • CCNP Certification

Additional preferred skills qualifications include knowledge of the following:

  • Cisco UCS knowledge
  • WIN 8/7/XP/2000 or UNIX
  • MAC OS / iOS Support
  • Linux/Red Hat
  • Oracle
  • WAN / LAN
  • Wireless Access Points
  • IT Security
  • Virtualization/ Virtual Machine
  • Call Center
