Overview

This role will hold responsibility to provide technical writing services for our client located  in Pleasanton CA. 

Responsibilities

• Write operational (help) content to support our service delivery team in assisting our customers.
• Write and maintain high-quality online help content when needed for projects.
• Review and revise documentation (communicative, technical, contractual and legal)
• Assist in the timely production, publication and localization of documentation.
• Collaborate with SMEs/Service Owner to document complex processes
• Create in-depth How-To articles when needed for projects
• Routinely audit Wiki articles for accuracy and scope
• Write step-by-step instructions for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manuals
• Help turn facts into information and organize that information in Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations.
• Ensure consistent style and documentation organization across Service Delivery
• Participate actively to the standardization of our Service Delivery practice and build relevant templates for Milestone’s Operations
• Participate in regular knowledge transfer sessions for the purpose of service ingestion
• Develop processes to reduce training/startup time for the Onboarding program

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant work experience, particularly writing online help.
• Ability to learn technical information quickly and explain it in simple terms targeted to the audience.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and cope well with frequently changing requirements.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple assignments at once.
• Effective research skills and ability to recognize inconsistencies.
• Comfortable using Google apps, HTML, Photoshop and SnagIt.
• Travel throughout the bay area required to support multiple clients
