Overview

Receptionist I

The Receptionist provides general administrative and clerical support to the Reception Team. As the receptionist is the initial point of contact for all those who visit the client’s campus, it is crucial that this person exhibits professionalism and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Greets guests entering organization and notifies host upon guest arrival.
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients.
  • Deals with queries from the public and customers.
  • Receives and routes delivered items.
  • Provides general administration and clerical support.
  • Provides support and coverage for team and/or special events, including badging.
  • Manages high volume lobby while simultaneously keeping reception area organized.
  • Supports client’s recruiting efforts by collecting candidate applications and re-routes to appropriate party.
  • Arrange for ground transportation as needed.
  • Provide coverage for other receptionist for lunch, breaks and/or time off.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in heavy volume customer service. Prior Reception or Security Industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite and Web.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude, even in difficult situations.
  • Proficient in working within a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

Additional

  • Able to safely lift and move a minimum of twenty (20) pounds.
