Venue Space Escalations - Support Technician

Location: Brock St, Kings Cross, London NW1 3FG

This role is based onsite with our client

Hours: Monday - Friday (40 hrs)

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Supporting all issues relating to event spaces and training rooms during events
  • Troubleshoot routing, wiring and cabling issues
  • Works with Audio Visual Deployment team to install new equipment
  • Operate cross-functionally within the team to support audio, video conferencing, projection, broadcast video and other event technology equipment
  • Contributes and abides by SOP documents, completing detailed event reporting as well as the utilizing event ticketing system
  • Completes venue space pre-show equipment sweeps prior to high priority events
  • Manages and maintains documentation of warehouse inventory including spare equipment
  • Manages RMA process of equipment with various manufactures
  • Create and/or maintain any needed team documentation
  • Train and learn processes, equipment, SOP's, etc. from Venue Space Escalation Technicians

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 3 years working knowledge of audio visual equipment with a proficiency in lighting, sound, video recording and data projection along with experience with the technical challenges and problem solving needs in a event production environment
  • Knowledge of technical event support system architectures and troubleshooting
  • Strong interest in technology and agility at learning new products and features
  • Ability to motivate and focus cross functional teams to reach challenging goals
  • Ability to manage own time and schedule, self starter
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed
  • The ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Professionally groomed to company standards, specific location’s standards, and to the standards of our clients.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel internationally (10% a year)
