Overview

Helpdesk Technician

We are looking for a Helpdesk Technician can help us complete upgrades on several hundred laptops that are currently on Windows 7, Office 2010. This person should have experience in upgrading Operating Systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10. They should have experience with Windows image as well as upgrading laptop hardware from 4mb to 8mb RAM.

  • Upgrade laptop hardware from 4mb to 8mb RAM
  • Upgrade operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10
  • Upgrade Office applications
  • Upgrade the Windows image as needed
  • Upgrade drivers and supporting information as needed
  • Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
  • Monitor the system daily
  • Create and verify backups of data
  • Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
  • Install and test computer-related equipment

Qualifications

Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience in system administration
  • Associate or higher degree in a related field
  • Hands on experience in upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10
  • Experience in upgrading laptop hardware
  • Experience with VMware
